Watch as police forces are forced to re-treat from rioters fearing for their safety.

Shops have been set on fire in Peckham, south London, as riots continue for a third night in the capital.

Police have clashed with rioters in Hackney and vehicles have been set on fire in Peckham and Lewisham.

It follows two nights of violence over the weekend after the police shooting of a man in Tottenham.

John Adderley in Peckham described seeing a bus on fire and fights breaking out. Further riots in London as violence spreads across England

London looks to be in store for another night of rioting. We're bringing you pictures from Hackney which is in the north east of the city, where skirmishes have already broken out between police and youths- this time in daylight. Home Secretary Theresa May is meeting police chiefs about the violence sweeping London. The latest clashes follow trouble over the weekend as rioters and looters reacted to a fatal police shooting. 35 police officers were injured and over two hundred people arrested.
